The CITGO Corpus Christi Refinery is one of the most sophisticated and efficient fuel and petrochemical refineries in the nation. With a crude refining capacity of approximately 167,000 bpd and a versatile product mix, the refinery has been designed, engineered and built to refine heavy, sour crude oils into high-quality, finished petroleum products.

The Corpus Christi Refinery is proud of its deep roots in supporting economic stability and community prosperity. Through TeamCITGO, we regularly lead volunteer efforts in our local community.
We support a number of educational programs, including establishing CITGO Innovation Academies to encourage students to pursue STEM curriculum and consider careers in our industry. Year after year, we support local charitable and civic organizations such as United Way of the Coastal Bend, American Heart Association, American Cancer Society, Muscular Dystrophy Association, Coastal Conservation Association, Texas State Aquarium, NAACP, LULAC Council #1, American GI Forum, and TABPHE.
